الخيل المعمرة في السباق, وتستعمل أيضآ لوصف المرأة المتقدمة في السن.

An expression usually used to describe middle-aged and older women.

The word is not derived from British occupation (aged) as some might think but is actually from a classical Arabic word with the same meaning, also used for women (ayej).

Aged (Aicha) women. There is a tendancy to transform G to TCH in Iraqi.
